Description

ADSL, which is the abbrevation of the initial letters of the words Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line is a modem technology that could provide high speed data, voice and image communication simultaneously through the copper wires used for the current telephones. ADSL is a DSL technology, of which the download speed is higher than its upload speed. ADSL works through two wires (a pair of copper wires).

With this technology which provides high speed interoffice connection through the current telephone lines by making a small hardware investment just like modem or router, Türk Telekom presents a safe communication option from a network that is closed to the internet.

Properties

  • ADSLconnection is installed through phone lines or by aseperate line. When the connection is installed on the existing phone lines, no line busy signal is received. Telephone calls and Internet connection can be managed simultaneously.
  • Companies with remote offices can use this connection to manage inter-office data and sound traffic.
