The maintenance of the exchange and the lines are performed 24/7 by the professional team of Türk Telekom. It is not required that Centrex subscriber keep personnel for maintenance.

What can I do if the system does not meet my need after a while?

All systems can fall short technologically or in terms of capacity. There is no need to worry about either case since Centrex is a constantly renewing system in terms of technology. Every year, new features provided by the latest technology are added on the system. Thus, there is no necessity of changing exchange in order to take advantage of new features.
In terms of capacity, the line capacity need can be met from 2 lines to 40,000 lines with Centrex service. By applying to Türk Telekom, Centrex subscriber can make addition of as much lines as required immediately. The surplus lines can be returned to Türk Telekom on demand.

Will a fee be paid for intra-company calls?

No. Centrex subscriber does not pay any fee for the calls made with the same user group of the company. External calls are charged in accordance with the tariffs applied on regular telephones.

Is this service as reliable as a PABX exchange?

Absolutely yes, it can even be said that it is more reliable. Since both the exchange and the energy units are the part of national network, it has a full back-up structure. In addition to that, outgoings from the exchange are as they are in regular telephones, so there is opportunity of accessing the other exchanges over alternative directions.

Can the existing telephone devices be used on this service?

Yes. The existing telephone devices can be used on this service. Subscribers may choose a suitable one among six different digital telephone sets with which they can take advantage of all means of special usage and they can see the name and number of the person, who they are called by or they call, on its display.

Can operator device be connected to the system?

Assuredly it can. It can be accessed directly over the company number or via operator or the calls can be made directly or via operator on demand. But since the callers can reach by dialling the number directly, workload of the operators will be extremely reduced.

How many numbers will I have to dial for intra-company calls?

Centrex subscriber can perform intra-company calls by dialling any number of digits between 1 and 5 depending on the size of the company and the number of users.
Centrex subscriber companies may impose all sorts of restrictions (in-city, inter-cities and international) on any telephone either for incoming or outgoing calls (in-city, inter-cities and international). Can get detailed information about company calls and can keep company calls under control with detailed invoice feature.

From which features can I take advantage of on Centrex service?

Centrex service provides more than 350 features that make telecommunication easier. A new one is added to these day by day, in parallel with technological progress. As a few examples, especially Call Diversion, Call Hold, Redial, Speed Dialling, Call Transfer, Call Collecting, Autodial, Intercom (Intra-Group Call) etc. can be given.
