Connection:

Following the signing of telephone subscription agreement, an appointment is arranged for the subscriber. It is required that there should be a relative of the subscriber, who is older than 18 years old, on the day of appointment and in the address where the telephone shall be connected. The subscription agreement is cancelled in case there is nobody at the connection address or when the personnel in charge of connection is not given permission on the appointment date.

Telephone Devices:

Telephone devices are supplied by the demanding owner. The telephone devices should be approved by Türk Telekom.

Notifications:

Bills and all other notifications related to the telephone are sent to the connection address. In case that the telephone subscribers make a demand, the notification could be sent to another address.

Payment:

Fees related to the telephones are invoiced on a monthly basis. The bills are paid to Telecom Directorates and Chieftainships and if these are not available, to PTT work places, contracted banks and Türk Telekom Agencies, which are entitled to make collection. In case that the fees belonging to the telephones are not paid within time, telephone is closed for speaking in the closing period. Delay fee is accrued. In case that the debt is not paid although a warning letter within a 30 day-term is sent to the subscriber, then the telephone is cancelled.
Other telephones registered on the name of the subscriber, whose agreement is cancelled, are cancelled as well, and no closing fee is received. In case that the debt of the telephone, the agreement of which was cancelled, is not paid within this time, such telephones are cancelled as well.

In case that the ones, whose telephone subscription is cancelled due to their debts, pay all their debts including delay fee and interest, a new telephone connection is made again without receiving a connection fee but revenue stamp as long as it is on the same address.

Indoor Instalment (Inlaid)

• Indoor instalment (inlaid) provides the connection between the building main entrance point of telecommunication network and the terminal device used by the customer. The installation of the indoor instalment and its maintenance are under the responsibility of the customer. By having the indoor instalment done by electricians in accordance with the standards of Türk Telekom;
• You may provide that your telecommunication service connections are done fine and in a short time,
• That the failure rate of your telecommunication service is decreased,
• That you prevent illegal communication through your telecommunication service.
• Keep in mind that the cables belonging to your telecommunication service and the indoor instalment not done in accordance with the standards, such as connecting cables by passing them through the balconies and windows, causes visual pollution. You can learn the standard of indoor instalment from the nearest Telecom Directorate free of charge.

Change of Address:

Before the connection of the telephone is done, demands for the change of address are not accepted other than the ones made by the municipality or the apartment number changes within the same building.

Change of Title:

Demands of telephone subscribers related to the change of the name and the title in their records are performed as long as they are certified.

Change of Number:

The demands of telephone subscribers related to the change of number are met in case there is vacant number at the exchange and as long as a fee for the tariff is received.

Transfer:

Local and inter-city transfer demands for telephones are met as long as a transfer fee for the tariff is collected. Transfer fee is collected with the first bill to be arranged after the performing of transfer. In case that the rent fees for the tariff are paid monthly, the same and different transfer demands are accepted without changing the telephone numbers.
* Telephone transfer demands will be met free of charge until the end of 31.12.2008.

Assignment:

Subscribers may demand the assignment of their telephone to someone by applying personally. During the application, the operation is established by evaluating the petition related to assignment demand with id card or passport, where the credentials on the id card and id card serial no. is located, corporate identity etc. and the photocopy of the id card being used are received. At the assignment requests, the assignor and the assignee should apply together. Since a new subscription will be made for the assignment, assignment action is not done as long as the debts, including delay fee and other debts for on the name of the assignor, that are accrued or will be accrued are not collected.

Assignment due to Inheritance:

In case of the death of the subscriber, if one of the inheritors requests the continual of the subscription on his/her name, a new agreement on the name of this inheritor is arranged, assignment fee is received, and then the assignment and register actions are performed. In order to establish the assignment action due to inheritance, concerning the case that the person is the inheritor, the certificate of inheritance or certificate of Family civil registry certificate and the letter of assignment request of the inheritor should be represented.
Additionally, a commitment is obtained from the inheritor, who requests the assignment to be established on behalf of himself/herself, concerning the fact that he/she will accept the cancelation of the agreement in the case that other inheritor(s) make a claim.

Short Term Subscription:

The time of the short term telephone subscription is 6 months at most. The subscriptions less than 1 month are deemed to be 1 month (30 days). Short term telephone subscriptions cannot be converted to permanent subscriptions; requests for their transfer or assignment are not accepted.

Closing of the Telecommunication:

Subscribers may demand that their telephone be closed to speaking temporarily. Telephones may be closed to speaking without the will of the subscriber due to debts. Action of temporarily closing of the telecommunication does not affect the period of subscription nor needs the monthly fee to be received.

Abandoning Subscription:

In case that the request of abandoning subscription is informed in a written way, the subscription is ended within 7 (seven) days at latest after the registration of this request. If the subscriber has debts, actions for collecting this debt are performed.

Detailed Bill:

The bill that contains the details of inter-city or international calls is given upon the request of the subscriber and provided that the exchange that the telephone is connected has the feature of providing detailed bill technically. The information that is in the detailed telephone bills are given to the subscriber. It is only given to courts and to the Public Prosecution Offices without knowledge of the subscriber in case there is a case of damage, or when there is a delay.

Number Detection:

The subscribers who request the detection of the number that is calling them for any reason, applies to public prosecution office. The detected numbers are informed to the public prosecution office.

Points to Consider While Using Telephone:

Pursuant to the provisions of telephone subscription agreement, no additions or alterations can be done on the telephone line outside the knowledge of Türk Telekom. In the places where there is no available Türk Telekom Chieftainships, Authorities and Türk Telekom Directorates, the PTT workplaces should be informed for the requests of additions or alterations.
