A New Brand Award To Turkey’s Most Valuable Brand Türk Telekom

Previously rewarded by the Turkish Patent Institute for 119 number of trademark registration in 2009, Turk Telekom was also rewarded in Ankara Patent Information Day. The activities carried out with the cooperation of Turkish Patent Institute and Hacettepe University, Turk Telekom, received two awards for utility model and trademark applications between the years of 2000 - 2009.
Turkey's leading communications and technology convergence company, Turk Telekom, received two awards for 13 utility model and 236 trademark applications in the context of Ankara Patent Information Day between the years of 2000 to 2009. Turk Telekom received awards in “the second highest corporation that made an application between the years up 2000 to 2009 in the city of Ankara "in" utility model ", “the third highest corporation that made an application between the years up 2000 to 2009 in the city of Ankara” and in "brand" categories.
Turk Telekom received the awards presented by Hacettepe University according to the evaluation among Ankara based companies between the years of 2000 to 2009. Turk Telekom made 13 utility model, 236 trademark brand applications during that period.
Turk Telekom within the concept of Turkish patent awards arranged by Turkish patent institute by third time in this year to create awareness about industrial property rights and to support economy to encourage the R&D efforts in Turkey, is the third place in a category of most brand registered company in 2009. In the BrandFinance survey conducted by Capital Magazine in 2009, Turkish Telecommunications Inc. the owner of Turk Telekom that is chosen "Turkey's Most Valuable Brand", awarded by Turkish Patent Institute for registration of 119 pieces of trademark in 2009.
Turk Telekom which declared 2008 as the year of product and focused its work within this framework also presented the market its innovative products and services in 2009 within the context of the convergence strategy and increased its trademark registration number from 21 to 150 as of today.
