Employment Attack from Türk Telekom

After recruitment of 1100 personnel in 2007, Türk Tekekom employs 2100 new engineer and technician throughout Turkey in 2008. New engineers and technicians coming from all parts of Turkey attended a harmonization program in a meeting held in Lütfi Kırdar. During the harmonization program to last for six days, attendants and trainers including Cem Yılmaz shall come together with the new personnel of Türk Telekom.
Turkey’s telecommunication giant Türk Telekom continues its structuring process, which was started in 2007 with the inclusion of 1100 personnel of which 700 were engineers, by recruiting 2100 new engineers and technicians this year. Türk Telekom made totally 2100 staff acquisition consists of 700 engineers and 1400 technicians in order to strengthen its qualified work power. New engineers and technicians began to attend harmonization program which is organized by Tük Telekom Academy, founded lasy year with the purpose of raising experts for he sector, held within a meeting in Lütfi Kırdar International Congress and Exhibition Palace. New employees coming from 81 provinces of Turkey attend trainings related to the departments within Türk Telekom and their activities including sales, marketing and customer relations besides operation during the subject harmonization program lasting for 6 days.
New engineers and technicians shall be take charge in Türk Telekom’s country wide technology and infrastructure units. Following employment announcements in newspapers and institution’s internet site, totally 13 thousand people applied for he job consist of 4 thousand 800 engineers and 8 thousand 200 technicians. Among these 1300 applicants during the recruitment process which began with competitive examination specially prepared for Türk Telekom by Anadolu University including interviews where 63 selective persons under 21 different groups actively worked, 2100 engineers and technicians were selected.
Türk Telekom Human Resources President Gökha Bozkurt said; “A significant part of electronic engineers graduated and employed in last two years were recruited by Türk Telekom. We believe that this high rate of recruitment consisting engineers and technicians is significant for telecommunication sector as well. We are proud of this investment realized for our county’s youth and future.” He added, “It is very important for us to invest in training and human in Turkey. We aim to increase the service quality further and vitalize tailor made products with added value and high technology expect from us by our customers. As Türk Telekom, we are awaiting excitedly the contributions of these new young employees who graduated from leading schools and succeeded in our examinations.”
