Türk Telekom Became the Main Sponsor for Trabzonspor

Türk Telekom which supports Turkish sports in order to contribute to the development of universal values of the sports in Turkey and to raise sportsman at world standards, has been continuing the restructuring of sponsorships which are carried out together by group companies.

These agreements consist some part of Türk Telekom Group’s strategy towards the continuation of team sponsorships within the frame work of Telekom and Avea.

Türk Telekom has previously realized this strategy’s first step by having the main sponsorship of Galatasaray. Now the second step is being completed by getting the main sponsorship of Trabzonspor.

Due to this Agreement, as of 2009- 2010 session, Türk Telekom shall be the main sponsor of Trabzonspor. The sponsorship between Türk Telekom and Trabzonspor shall last for 5 years.

Türk Telekom Group, standing by Turkish sports and sportsman, now supports 4 major clubs in Turkey; Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor by Avea. TTNET, one of the group companies undertakes the sponsorship of National Team.

Türk Telekom group companies support national and international various spor activities in Turkey and curently undertake the sponsorship of Soccer National Teams, National A Volleyball Mem Team, National A Volleyball Men and Women Junior Teams, National A Volleyball Man and Women Yıldız Teams. Türk Telekom has the leading basketball and volleyball teams in Turkey and has been continuing its infrastructure investments for raising young sportsmen both in these fields and others.
