Türk Telekom is the Largest Payer of Social Security Premiums in Turkey

Türk Telekom took the first place in the list of employers paying the highest insurance premiums in 2009 in Turkey.
Türk Telekom, the leading communication and convergence technologies company in Turkey, has taken the first place in the list of “Employers Paying Highest Premiums in 2009” prepared by the Social Security Administration. The list includes the companies who have paid highest amounts of society security premiums of Turkey. Türk Telekom’s award has been given to Türk Telekom’s President of HR, Gökhan Bozkurt, in the ceremony organized.
Attracting attentions in his speech to the fact that Türk Telekom is one of the companies providing the highest employment opportunities in our country, Türk Telekom’s President of HR, Gökhan Bozkurt, said:
“We are very happy to take a motivating award given by Social Security Administration in the field of employment which is one of the fields needed to be developed most in our country. Türk Telekom is one of the companies providing highest opportunities of employment in the country with its nearly 35 thousand employees including all its participations. We are targeting to provide equal employment opportunities to each region of the country to the extent possible through innovative applications in the field human resources like “local recruitment”. We want to take a leading role in the field of employment not only with our number of employees, but also with our human resources policies, the value we attach to our employees and the support we give to supply a higher level of trained manpower to our country, especially our sector. We will continue to make contributions to the economic and social development of the country as the largest payer of premiums in Turkey.”
